Indira Gandhi

Thought of missing the topic, but, its so difficult to cheat your habit!
Without wasting much time, recent report/ book by some congress people regarding role of Indira Gandhi in the present situation of Congress in Hindi Heartland; is either a result of total detachment from the reality or an effort to attract the opponents in the region in addition to the underlying disease of psychofancy and greed.

I was not brought in an environment supporting Congress or Indira Gandhi. I was just 12 year old when she was shot dead inside her residence! Other than the fact the she was killed, we were not sad for anything else . . . we did not feel that our country is at loss! . . . But as I grew and understood the country, I felt what a loss it was!

Friends, every one knows that loss of political ground of Congress has come after Rajiv Gandhi. Because he was guided by people detached from the mass, like Pranab Mukherjee, Gulam Nabi Azad, Arun Nehru and so on . . . If Indira Gandhi would have been alive, she would not have let Shahbano issue to come to the parliament, she would not have allowed openning of the gate of the temple in Ayodhya, She would not have allowed the shouting brigade of KK Tiwary to take the parliament ransom . . . . everyone knows that these issues effected the prospects of Congress.

People will say the role of Mandal or other process of awakenning of lower strata of the society, but we should always remember that Congress, by nature has always been pro communists (see where Binayak Sen is?!), Pro poor. It was the overhelming support after Indira's Death that Congress leaders forgot the need of Communists . . . Indira Gandhi would have surly managed these issues without problem.


Present condition of Congress is either because of no decisions or wrong decisions which Indira did only once - imposing emergency!

If we see, present situation of Congress in Bihar is because it supported Laloo Prasad not only in 2000 to 2005 government, rather after 2005 - 2006 as well!

In UP its bad because they never wanted it to be better . . .
Actually if we see closely, present situation of Congress in Hindi heartland is poor because its leaders starting from Narasimha Rao wanted it to be so . . . Because they all know, if it improves there, then impotent and eunuchs will not be allowed at the helm any more . . .

संख्याविद की समाधी!

एक बार एक संख्याविद किसि नदी किनारे पंहुचा. वहाँ लोगों को दूसरे पार पंहुचाने के लिये नाव चल रही थी. लेकिन संख्याविद साहब ने ध्यान से देखा, नाद खेने के प्रयुक्त्त “लग्गा” तो पानी में डूब हीं नहीं रहा है! उन्होंने “मुर्ख” नाविक से नदी में जगह जगह पर गहराई मापने के लिये कहा. जैसा कि संख्याविद को उम्मीद थी, औसत गहराई संख्याविद के कमर तक हीं थी!

संख्याविद पैदल हीं नदी पार करने चल परे!

वो कहाँ पंहुचेंगे आप सबको अच्छी तरह पता है!

वो हमें कहाँ पन्हुचायेगा?

Statistician's graveyard - commonsense!

Once a statistician reached to a river bank. Boats were ferrying people across the river. But the statistician observed that the bamboo stick with which the boats were pushed, were most of the time not deep enough in water! He requested the "fool" rowing the boat to measure the depth at various distances across the river. As per the statistician's expectations, the average depth of water was hardly coming up to the height of the waist of the statistician. So he decided to cross the river walking!
I know you all can guess where will the statistician go!
Rather where will he take all of us!

जब भी मन कि माला फेरी, मर्यादा ने आँख तरेरी

परम्परा के लश्कर जागे, गूंजी अम्बर तक रण - भेरी

जिनको है स्वीकार सदा से तालाबों में घिरकर जीना

दीवानों की इस बस्ती में कैसा पाना कैसा खोना

आसमान की चादर की ओढी धरती का कर दिया बिछौना

जिसने अपने को पहचाना जिसको मन का मिला खजाना

दुनिया भर की दौलत उसके आगे है मिटटी की ढेरी

जब भी मन कि माला फेरी .....

ईश्वर की आँखों से छलके होंगे सूरज – चन्दा - तारे

मुस्कानों के पीछे छुपकर बैठे हैं दो आंसू सारे

स्वर्ण - पत्र पर खुदवाई कितनों ने अपनी यश गाथाएं

काल जयी होने की धुन में बदली सारी परिभाषाएँ

पर वो ही जीवित रह पाया जिसने आंसू को दुहराया

अपने मन के भोज पत्र पर मन की सच्ची पीर उकेरी

Contemporary Mainstream Political parties in India: All Having Same Disease

Though it might be imperfect to some but we have three national political parties Indian National Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party and Communists. At present every group seem to be infected with at least one common disease – not able to strike balance between their original principles/ dreams to the present day mass and their expectations.


in addition they are having their specific problems like -
Congress - Corruption
BJP - Has to compete with parties/ people who serve Hindus without declaring! Could not come out/ still has confusion over need to come out of the religious fantasy!
Communists - Never understood the Indian mass at large. Not able to understand Marx in Indian context!

HYMN CXXIX. Creation.

1. THEN was not non-existent nor existent: there was no realm of air, no sky beyond it.
What covered in, and where? and what gave shelter? Was water there, unfathomed depth of water?
2 Death was not then, nor was there aught immortal: no sign was there, the day's and night's divider.
That One Thing, breathless, breathed by its own nature: apart from it was nothing whatsoever.
3 Darkness there was: at first concealed in darkness this All was indiscriminate chaos.
All that existed then was void and form less: by the great power of Warmth was born that Unit.

The Gods are later than this world's production. Who knows then whence it first came into being?

Mehrgarh

Mehrgarh one of the most important Neolithic (7000 BCE to c. 2500 BCE) sites in archaeology, lies on "Kachi plain" of today's Balochistan, Pakistan. It is one of the earliest sites with evidence of farming (wheat and barley) and herding (cattle, sheep and goats) in South Asia.".

Mehrgarh is located near the Bolan Pass, to the west of the Indus River valley and between the present-day Pakistani cities of Quetta, Kalat and Sibi. The earliest settlement at Mehrgarh—in the northeast corner of the 495-acre (2.00 km²) site—was a small farming village dated between 7000 BCE to 5500 BCE.

Mehrgarh is now seen as a precursor to the Indus Valley Civilization.
